Summer Course at Trinity: Telling Counterstories Using Critical Race Theory
Course taught by Dr. Antonio Byrd June 16 - July 21 Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm
In this class, we'll discuss how critical race theory's counterstories can be used to challenge and displace harmful narratives about race, and other identities, in Kansas City and beyond. After reviewing critical race theory's tenets and counterstory, attendees will write and workshop their own counterstories that describe the realities of their lives and invite readers to join us in community.
